2024 presumptive Republican presidential nominee and former President Donald Trump spoke to voters at a rally in the New York City borough of The Bronx. The former president vowed to “turn New York City around” and to make “New York bigger and better” once he makes it back into the White House. He took aim at current president Joe Biden calling him “incompetent”. The former president’s rally comes days after the prosecution and defense rested their case in the state’s hush money criminal trial against him involving hush money payments to an adult film start in the lead up to the 2016 presidential election. Closing statements in the trial are expected Tuesday.
