The incumbent Republican, U.S. Sen. Rick Scott is seeking another term to represent Florida in Washington, D.C. On the Democratic side, former U.S. Rep. Debbie Mucarsel-Powell, who represented South Florida and the Keys, hopes to secure a primary win against three other hopefuls in order to challenge the Republican candidate. The general election will also feature two candidates with no party affiliation, a Libertarian and a write-in.
